Five Ways To Get Inspired By The Holy Spirit

Ways to get inspired by the holy spirit

As believers in Christ, we have the privilege of having the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, providing guidance, comfort, and empowerment in our daily lives. When we seek to live in obedience to the Holy Spirit’s promptings, we experience a deep sense of purpose and meaning.

The Holy Spirit inspires us to be more like Christ and to embody His love, compassion, and grace in our relationships with others. As we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, we experience a deeper connection with God and a greater understanding of His plan for our lives. This can bring a sense of peace, joy, and fulfillment that transcends all circumstances and challenges.

In moments of uncertainty or difficulty, the Holy Spirit provides strength and encouragement to persevere. He brings comfort in the midst of sorrow and helps us to see God’s hand at work. Here are some ways to get inspired by the Holy Spirit in your day to day life.

The Word of God

The word of God is inspired by God Himself. It is meant to teach, correct, and instruct us in righteousness. God speaks to us through His word. Everything He says is eventually fulfilled in His appointed time. Reading the Bible helps us understand the will of God over our lives.

We learn of the infinite grace of the Holy Spirit that is given unto us. It is the Holy Spirit that gave Peter the courage to preach to the crowd that had gathered on the day of Pentecost. He preached about repentance and baptism; further extending to the crowd the promise of receiving the Holy Spirit.

Three thousand people received salvation and were baptized on that day! The Holy Spirit used Peter to do evangelism and convicted the hearts of many people to be saved. Be inspired that the Holy Spirit can use you to do what you think you cannot do alone. It is for the glory of God.

The Prophets of God

God sometimes speaks to us through the prophets. They are men and women whom the Lord has set apart for His ministry. The Holy Spirit uses them to inspire us to live righteously. As Judah was going to war against the Moabites and Ammonites, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to the people in the congregation through Jahaziel.

He delivered the Lord’s message of victory to the people. This was the inspiration that they needed to strengthen their faith. Listen to the prophets of God when you are going through a rough patch and the Spirit of the Lord will have a message of encouragement for you. The Bible urges us to have faith in the prophets of God and we shall be established. They are filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Testimony of Salvation

Every person who follows Christ has a testimony of what the Lord has done for them. We are inspired by the Holy Spirit for the good that He has done in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Christ. The Bible affirms that the saints defeated the enemy by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony.

The work of the Holy Spirit elsewhere inspires us to remain on track because our time of visitation is also drawing close. Listen to testimonies of victories and encourage each other to boldly talk about what the Lord has done. This inspiration is fuel to our spirits.

The Miracles of God

Miracles are a sign to unbelievers about the power of God. It demonstrates that God is powerful to do that which man was unable to do. God goes against science and logic to work a miracle. Apart from hearing about the miracles that God has done, seeing them with our eyes leaves us in awe of God and the Trinity.

God does miracles in our lives every day. Many people struggle to get the same thing that we (maybe) hardly appreciate. It is a miracle that you are favored. Such miracles inspire us to embrace the Holy Spirit and devote our lives to Jesus. Apostle Paul would pray for handkerchiefs that would be taken to the sick and they would be healed. He was filled with the Holy Spirit, spoke boldly about Jesus, and worked miracles in His name.

The Life of Saints

Saints are people who lived righteously. God can testify of their righteous lives and He was pleased with them. The Holy Spirit helped them walk in righteousness and withstand all the temptations of the devil. Saints were human like us yet they did not succumb to the desires of the flesh.

When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you are led by Him; not the flesh. You die to sin and live in Christ. The early church was filled with the Holy Spirit and they lived in peace.

None of them lacked in anything; not because of abundance, but because they were selfless. You will bear the twelve fruits of the Holy Spirit like the saints and you will inspire other people to accept salvation.

Transformation by the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit leaves a trail of transformation everywhere He goes. Paul, formerly Saul, was filled with the Holy Spirit and changed from persecuting the church to becoming a minister of the gospel.

I encourage you to seek the leading of the Holy Spirit in your daily life. Take time to listen for His voice and to respond to His promptings. As you do, you will experience the deep sense of fulfillment and inspiration that comes from being in tune with God.
